That's a Wrap!

It’s that time of year when we’re starting to see how everyone wrapped up different aspects of their careers, goals, personal lives, and even hobbies. While I personally am a fan of the Christmas Letter, depending where you are in life at the moment, reading someone else’s highlights can be intimidating.
I want you to know that any progress you made this year, this month, this week, today - that is success. Benchmarks and goals are wonderful tools to measure your progress, but even when they aren’t met, it doesn’t negate the successes along the way.
If you read one single book more than you did last year, that’s growth. If you managed to work reading in at all because it was important to you, THAT is success.
If your goal is 64 ounces of water per day, and you drank 32, the hydrating benefits of those ounces you did drink still matter. You successfully drank 32 ounces either way.
I’d be a terrible Coach if I didn’t grasp the importance of growth and achievement, and I really do. But your progress IS success, and it’s vital that you give yourself grace when recapping your journey.
Somewhat off-topic, I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that as we head toward January, there will be a lot of talk of resolutions and goals. Please keep my science-backed advice in mind: Our bodies are not cohesive to major change until spring. This is a physiological response to shorter days, decreased dopamine production, and disrupted circadian rhythms. Saturday, March 21st, 2026 is the first day of spring, and a really good starting point to measure your goals.
